Eli Datesman • 6-3 • 2020 • New Braunfels

From the tip, Datesman was ready to play and stuck out by playing defense and getting after his opponent. When on offense, Datesman turned the corner and attacked the basket scoring in traffic. When he wasn't taking advantage of the defense by slashing, Datesman sat out on the perimeter and nailed the three. Overall he was aggressive on both ends of the court.

Don Escobar • 6-3 • 2020 • San Antonio Clark

To get his game going, Escobar likes to get in the open court in transition and use his speed to beat everyone to the basket. Once he is in the paint, Escobar is a finisher and will score through contact. Escobar also showed that he can get the ball at the wing and use a quick first step to the lane and then score. Easy lay-ins are what Escobar was good at, but hitting the mid-range jumper adds another element to his game.

Kaleb Fairconnetue • 6-3 • 2022 • San Antonio Johnson

As a forward, Fairconnetue did a bit of everything in front of the TexasHoops/GASO evaluators. Fairconnetue was an athlete who would finish plays. Whether he was on the defensive end altering shots, or slashing to the basket on the offensive side of the ball, the current sophomore caught our eyes. He did a nice job of getting the ball to the basket and finishing through contact. When he was given an open look at the basket from behind the arc, Fairconnetue drilled it.

Alex Ferrell • 6-2 • 2022 • Clear Creek

Ferrell has the bloodline when it comes to playing the game (brother plays at UT Dallas) and the sophomore is one his way of being a nice prospect himself. He was a problem for his opponents when it came to his athleticism, scoring and slashing abilities. Ferrell was fast maneuvering with the ball along the perimeter and weaved through the defense. Ferrell displayed a quick first step to the basket and scored using floaters and lay-ins. He also had his stroke from behind the arc working, nailing set shots.

Jordan Fitch 5-9 • 2021 • Montgomery Lake Creek

It's always important to have a great point guard who will distribute and get the team in an offense, but when you can add scoring too, that player becomes a threat. This was certainly the case with Fitch who was a pass-first PG at times but when he stepped his foot in the lane he used runners and soft bank shots, and then he made good on his open three-pointers. Fitch was smooth and an overall crafty player.

Tvonsi Hubbard • 6-5 • 2020 • San Antonio East Central

To start with, Hubbard passes the eye test with a big and strong body. Next, it didn't take long for the senior to get in a flow of taking the ball to the rim and finishing with power. Hubbard then pulled out his trigger from beyond the arc. When he plays with a high motor, Hubbard was easily one of the top players in attendance.

Kevin Jamieson • 6-8 • 2020 • St Stephen's Episcopal

High School bigs are always at a premium, especially when they can show promise to their overall skill. Jamieson was just what we were looking for at Tops In Texas and to say that Jamieson wowed us would be an understatement. A bigger interior body, Jamieson has terrific footwork and reliable hands in the post. He used spin moves off the block to finish at rim level. Jamieson created room and bullied his way to the basket against defenders who wanted to stop his overpowering size. Not only did he work inside, Jamieson stepped away from the paint and dropped in 15-footers. The strong body of Jamieson made rebounding a cinch and while he was defending the paint, he became a shot blocker. Jamieson is on the TexasHoops/GASO staff's radar in a big way.

Bryce Jefferson • 6-1 • 2020 • Leander Rouse

Jefferson went out to the court and was great off penetration. He came off the dribble and scores it with a smooth lefty pull up from the mid-range area of the court.,He showed athleticism, was able to handle the ball while being pressured. When he wasn't able to get to the paint off his dribble, Jefferson drilled the three-pointer.

Ben Jones • 6-3 • 2022 • Austin St Stephen's

One prospect who played with some poise and confidence was Jones who turned out to be a skilled player. Jones was crafty at the basket scoring around his opponents. He also handled the ball and took the lead in transition as a ball handler. On offense, Jones was sinking the three, and when he put the ball on the floor, Jones played with some pop to his game as he headed to the basket. He displayed good decision making and passing ability.
