With the last GASO Fall Classic wrapping up In Mansfield we saw a ton of great talent and teams that were already playing at a high level. Before we get to the season though, I wanted to make sure and hit on some guys that have done a phenomenal job who aren't always first to get the recognition or aren't household names yet, but they are key In their teams success. So don't forget these names as you head Into this 2020 high school season.

Neal Utrup 6'3 2021 - Prosper High School

Neal is a crafty scoring guard with good size and length. Offensively he does a phenomenal job stretching the floor. When he is run off the line he makes great decisive plays and can finish in a variety of ways. Defensively, he is physical and moves his feet, his length allows for him to contest shots and get deflections allowing his team transition opportunities.

Jack Pease 5'11 2021 - Highland Park High School

Jack has a stout body and a nice burst on his first step. On offense, he has a great feel for the game, and he uses his vision to create plays for his teammates. If a play breaks down, Jack has the ability to score off the bounce. On defense, he flys around and he uses his headiness to be in the right places at the right time.

DeQuinton "DQ" Williams 6'3 2021 - Richardson High School

DeQuinton is clearly an invaluable piece to this Richardson group. He does a lot that goes unnoticed with the star power Richardson holds. Offensively, he handles the ball in spurts, can knock down shots, facilitates, and isn’t afraid to be a playmaker when called upon. Defensively, he fits in nicely, makes a lot of plays, and definitely puts his stamp on the game.

Rodrick Yarbrough 6'3 2022 - Lincoln High School

Rodrick is a bouncy athlete with great ball skills. He affects the game in a ton of different ways. On offense, he can score from deep or at the rim, and he facilitates the ball nicely. On defense, he uses his length to guard the ball, and when he is off the ball he anticipates passes and has gotten his hands on many creating easy offense for his team.
