Keith Hayman (Texas Elite-Herb/Cy Ranch) was dropping threes all weekend long behind his long rangy stroke. The 6-foot-6 shooter was hitting shots from all angles and could create and get his shot off with defenders playing tight defense. Hayman was one of the best shooters that TexasHoops/GASO witnessed in BCS GASO. Hayman nailed seven threes in the semi-finals of the NCAA Division and then added five more in the Championship game.

Teammate James Young (Spring Westfield) was impressive with his strong body and his ability to hit the hole and take contact. Young was physical and handled the ball. One part of his game that he showed late in games was his touch from the perimeter. He was all drive but did a nice job of not overshooting the ball and forcing it.

Luke Hamilton (Lockdown Showcase/Lake Travis) is a 6-foot-8 face-up forward with range past the arc. Hamilton showed more than just being a spot-up shooter, as he played a pick and pop role and went inside. TexasHoops/GASO will catch more of this NKOTB in Round Rock.

Rashard Smith (Texas Champions 2018/San Antonio East Central) had his shot flowing at the BCS, and he had range. Smith is a lanky guard that can handle the ball up court and make shots. He has a good looking stroke and when he is left open he will sink it.

Somerset High School is not typically a hotbed for basketball talent but when you are a 6-foot-8 sophomore you will get noticed. Jacob Harvey (Next Level Raiders) played inside and out of the paint. When he was down low he was a rebounder and played with his back to the basket with decent instincts. When the big fella stepped out to the perimeter he hit threes.

At 6-foot-5 Emmaunel White (Houston Defenders 16/Morton Ranch) is a guard that is versatile. He brought up the ball, he ran the floor, he took the ball to the basket and he drilled open three-pointers. White was also a defender and rebounder.

The final New Kid on the Block is Dalin Williams (Corpus Christi Bruins/West Texas) who is a 6-foot-8 post player. Williams played on the block and was quick to get the ball out of his hands when he reached for a rebound followed by a putback or when he created space and worked to score at the rim. Still Developing, Williams will be watched closely.
