Big East New Home for Johnson

After making the shocking decision to leave Iowa State, high-major programs from around the country were beating down the door of Wesley Johnson to gauge his interest. The long 6-foot-7, 190-pound forward filtered through all the programs calling his house back home in Corsicana, and decided to embark on some official visits. The plan was to take a number of trips before deciding, but after seeing one Big East power Johnson decided he had seen enough.
Johnson will transfer to Syracuse. "I liked what they had to offer enough to end the recruiting,"Johnson told the Syracuse Post-Standard on Tuesday night. "I really liked the school a lot. I got to meet the coaches and see the campus and the Carrier Dome. I felt good about it."
