Kaden Archie Urban DFW Elite

TexasHoops/GASO staff saw the improvement in Archie's game at the beginning of April when he competed in the first GASO. Now, college coaches are on board with Archie's smooth style of play as a slasher, passer and a scorer. Archie can see over the top of defenders and make good decisions on what he wants to do. His three-point shot gets the defense off balance and then he blows by them.

Will Baker 2019 6-foot-10 Post Basketball University

Changing uniforms in the midnight hour prior to the first Adidas open session, Baker came out and attacked the rim using a variety of moves. Baker has always had limited touches but has been efficient with his opportunities. The Basketball University guards quickly realized that 6-foot-10 Baker needed the ball.

Charles Bassey 2019 6-foot-9 Forward YIIS TX Future

A do-it-all forward who will take the ball the length of the court and dazzle the crowd with the end result. Bassey is a skillful perimeter player with a shooter's touch from behind the arc and one of the most athletic leapers in the game. Bassey does what he wants on the court whether he needs to be a ball handler, a scorer or rebounder.

Greg Brown 2020 6-foot-8 Forward Basketball University

The rising freshman had no problems competing at the highest level of the Adidas Gauntlet. A rangy 6-foot-8 frame, Brown rebounded and quickly laid the ball in around the paint. Brown moves around the floor with ease.

Brock Cunningham 2018 6-foot-6 Forward Urban ASAK

Typical Cunningham, banging in the paint and leading the team in points and rebounds. It's clear how hard he plays with marks that cover his body and the way he throws his body around. As TexasHoops/GASO said last week, Cunningham is a WINNER.

Kendric Davis 2018 5-foot-9 Point Guard Texas PRO

A TCU commit, Davis can hurry up the court and be a one-man press break. Davis is smooth in his delivery as a floor general and will pick apart his opponents. He likes to generate contact and get to the free-throw line for easy points. He finds the open seams in the defense and gets the ball to his teammates in perfect position for easy scores.

Kyler Edwards 2018 6-foot-2 Guard YGC36

When emotion is kicked to the curb, Edwards is one of the state's most talented class of 2018 prospects. An athlete who has a complete offensive game is a triple threat scorer. He drains the three ball, nails his pull-up jumper and finishes in traffic.

Montre' Gibson 2018 5-foot-10 Point Guard YIIS TX Future

With his bulldog body, Gibson can pound his way through defenses when he wants to get to the rim. Gibson steps out onto the floor and competes on both sides of the ball. Offensively he can get to the bucket off penetration or hit the three. At his size and as a guard, Gibson has no problems getting on the boards. He's a nice rebounder who will grab the ball and sprint up the court.

Quentin Grimes 2018 6-foot-5 Guard Basketball University

The class of 2018 number one player in the state did what he does best. Score. Grimes took his game inside the arc and busted his opponents up with mid-range jumpers and quick dashes to the rim. Grimes is an Elite talent and scores from all three levels.

Shasiare Harvey 2018 5-foot-9 Point Guard Urban ASAK

He may not be your typical point guard, but Harvey is one of those players who has the knack for scoring with the ball in his. What Harvey does as a floor general is create opportunities. He has a quick cross-over to create enough room to get a shot off and sink a shot from the perimeter, and he can dish the ball.

Nigel Hawkins 2018 6-foot-2 Guard Basketball University

What happens after winning a state 6A UIL title, the obvious answer is show the college coaches why you were a big part of a 34-2 championship team. Hawkins showed off his bounce and had a few explosive moves to the rim, finishing with thunderous dunks.

Feron Hunt 2018 6-foot-7 Forward Urban DFW Elite

Hunt is one of those prospects that you see and are ready for him to make an impact. The lanky forward can score it in the paint and use his long arms and body to get position for rebounds. Hunt can really get up the court and when stretched out, he is an attractive target.

Michael Jankovich 2018 6-foot-3 Guard YIIS TX Future

Sometimes a player only needs to do one thing great, and in the case of Jankovich, his one deadly tool is he is a shooter. Jankovich shoes a high level of understanding of how to get open and rub off screens to get into open space. When he has the time to catch and shoot, he strokes a high percentage of threes.

Jaedon Ledee 2018 6-foot-9 Forward Texas PRO

Ledee proved again that his game is at its best when he is using his grown body to punish the opposition around the basket. Getting putbacks and muscling through defenders to score is where his game is valuable. However, he continues to show that he has skill away from the basket and can get to the rim with two dribbles to score.

Kennedy Milton 2018 5-11 Point Guard Urban DFW Elite

A state champion himself (UIL 2016 4A), Milton showed a ton of flash with the ball in his hands. A quick penetrating guard with a high-level point guard skills, Milton can hit the open man or get the ball to the basket and absorb contact in the lane.

Zach Nuttall 2018 6-foot-2 Guard Texas PRO

Making a quick splash is Nuttall. As we have mentioned before, Nuttall is a tremendous athlete, and Saturday he showed his range by knocking down threes. Nuttall is more than a slashing athlete, he is a threat from behind and inside the arc and of course getting to the rim.

Jalen Wilson 2019 6-foot-6 Forward YGC36

TexasHoops/GASO staff has always loved the overall play of Wilson. The 6-foot-6 forward scores, rebounds, passes, defense, and makes smart plays. He's the type of player that will help you win, period. Wilson knows how to move around the perimeter and get opens and hardly forces plays.

Larry Wise 2018 6-foot-2 Guard YIIS Texas Future

Quietly going about his business is Wise who can pull the trigger from behind the arc and hit the open look. He works within the offense and focuses on the rim and spacing. He has good ball handling skills to allow him to break free of his defenders.
