Traditionally, TexasHoops.com releases a sophomore class ranking during the month of February of that basketball school year. However, for the first time, TexasHoops.com's staff is releasing the Top 20 players of the sophomore class (2019) in alphabetical order (by last name) during the middle of the season.

THIS IS NOT A RANKING, but this list gives the college coaches, players, and fans a preview of which players are the leaders in the class of 2019. -But things can change in the upcoming months.

As basketball approaches the second half of the season (district play), the TexasHoops.com/Great American Shoot-Out staff will continue to watch and come across the state's best prospects for a ranking in late February or possibly waiting after the season which concludes in San Antonio in early March. The ranking will consist of the top 50-60 players in numerical order.

Below are the Top 20 players from around the state for the class of 2019.
