Kendric Davis - Houston Sam Houston - TCU commit

Davis has held down his spot as the top 2018 point guard in Houston with a series of stellar performances this year, including a wild shootout with Northwest's Avery Anderson in the first round of the Whataburger. Davis put up 31 points in that game with a series of layups and feather-soft floaters, but also showed what made him nationally ranked with his ability to find the right pass on the drive.

TexasHoops Take: Davis along with Midlothian's Kaden Archie form an exciting recruiting class for a TCU team well on the way to becoming a Big 12 power. With a quick scorer like Davis joining an already strong backcourt, the Frogs have a chance at some staying power for a future of national prominence.

Jamal Bieniemy - Katy Tompkins - Oklahoma commit

Bieniemy had one of the strongest Whataburger tournaments by a single player in a field loaded with D1 talent. The future Sooner was electric in his pull-up game and on the drive, leading his Tompkins team to a 1-point loss to eventual tournament champs Mansfield Timberview in the opening round. Bieniemy has really been using his size well this season to elevate over defenders off the bounce.

TexasHoops Take: Bieniemy will hope to make it two barnstorming freshman classes in a row in Norman, and has the potential to make a splash next year in an extremely talented Oklahoma squad.

Jaedon LeDee - Houston Kinkaid - Ohio State commit

Some big name prospects rest on their laurels and can coast through their senior seasons after getting a Power-5 scholarship: That is NOT Jaedon LeDee. LeDee has bought in to improving his game and might be one of the toughest individual matchups in the state. A built 6-foot-9 frame coupled with a ridiculous skill level is dangerous for any team to go against.

TexasHoops Take: LeDee has been imposing his will this season (see video below) and has rounded into one of the most complete players in his class. A strong athletic forward with just the right amount of finesse to his game, LeDee could go on to do some big things at the next level.
