San Antonio Stevens 71 El Paso Parkland 54

A workmanlike 26 points for Quentin Coleman blazed the way to an assured victory in bracket play for Stevens over El Paso Parkland. Coleman's stellar defense led to plenty of easy opportunities on the other end as he continures to prove himself as one of the city's best point men. A big game from Coleman opened the door for sharpshooting swingman Jon Jon Salazar to chip in 15 on mainly midrange jumpers. Parkland never seemed to get their footing in a second half marked by exceptional offensive execution for Stevens.

3rd Place Game- SA Brandeis 41 SA Reagan 40

Brandeis survived two turnovers within the final 20 seconds to gut out a win by the narrowest of margins. Reagan stole an inbounds pass with 2.5 seconds left in the game right under Brandeis' basket, but fumbled with the ball and were ultimately unable to force home a game winner. Cameron Davis finished a huge tournament for Brandeis with a 14-point outing, and showed good distribution to inside men Avery Theus (13 points) and Roman Morgan (12 points). For Reagan, standout point guard Timmy Benavides led the charge to take the game down to the wire, and finished with 15 for his efforts.

Championship Game- SA MacArthur 76 SA Central Catholic 67

It took a pair of dominant displays from San Antonio MacArthur's skilled wings Charles Henderson and Nate Levine to push past Central Catholic and claim the Northside/North East ISD tournament championship. Levine came out the gate hot by knocking down a pair of threes in the first quarter, while Henderson scored 13 straight points as part of a huge second quarter for the Brahmas. They would finish the game with a whopping 21 points each, while Carson Murphy added 10.

For Central, big man Alex Conrad wore MacArthur out on the inside, getting most of his points thanks to great footwork and finishing in the post. Sam Gallardo also turned in a gutsy performance to lead his team in scoring after taking an elbow to the face and having to check out of the game for a short span. A late run cut the MacArthur advantage to 7, but that was as close as it would get for the Buttons as they had to settle for second.

Johnathan Ochoa led the fightback for Athlos, scoring a game-high 14 and generally looked good on the drive. Rashard Smith chipped in with 10 in the loss.

3rd Place Game- SA Antonian Prep 73 SA Johnson 50

Freshman sensation Juan Reyna was at it again, scoring 17 for Antonian as they glided past Johnson for 3rd place at the Adidas Tip Off. After an even first quarter, Antonian kicked into gear and proved to be too much on offense for the Jaguars to handle over the next three quarters. Mitch Turner led all scorers with 21 for the Apaches, including 4 makes from deep, and Zach Clemence chipped in 12. AJ Clark responded with 13 for Johnson on a day where not much went right for them on the offensive end.

Championship Game- Tomball Concordia Lutheran 58 Dallas Bishop Lynch 54

Concordia Lutheran capped a strong weekend with a hard fought win over Bishop Lynch to take the hardware with them back to Houston. Hellums turned in an MVP-esque performance, hitting 4 threes and going a perfect 9-for-9 at the line for 21 points. Clay matched his exceptional guardplay with 18 of his own including the de facto game winner.

Sean Coman led the way for the Friars with 11 points, who again had a very even distribution of points. Jordan Buck added 7 as Bishop Lynch took the silver in their first year at the Adidas Tip Off.
