Luke Cox Pro Skills 17

If you can't locate the shooter on the floor then you will pay in a big way. Cox made his opponents pay by having several games with multiple 3-point buckets.

Bronzea Giddeus West Texas Zags

A newbie to the state, Giddens looked to have potential moving forward once he gets familiar with the state's competition. He is long and athletic with the ability to get to the bucket. He can be a mismatch problem in time.

Will Harper Lone Star Elite

A hard working point guard who can set up his teammates for easy scores. He's fast, physical and heady. Showed he could run a team and do a little scoring at the right times.

Dylan Isenhower Lone Star Elite

One player that Could possibly turn some heads in July is Isenhower because of his size and the way he will take the ball to the hole and finish. He is skilled with a good stroke.

Roderick Mason Urban DFW Elite

It wasn't hard to miss the DeSoto product as he got hot from the behind the arc. Mason has a great looking shot and ran the floor to open space. He was also rewarded by his point guards penetrating style.

Osayi Osifo RM5 Elite Open (Sullivan)

Up north in the metroplex is an unknown athletic interior player in Osifo. He is a raw prospect but can run and jump. He is a good scorer around the rim and defends.

Josh Robinson D.M. Elite

No surprise that Paris High School who is rich with athletes has a guard who could eventually catch fire and turn heads. Robinson is as quick as anyone with the ball in his hands and he has the ability to pull up in transition and score. However, what you notice right away is his explosive first step to the basket.

Noah Rodriguez HD Toros Elite

Another guard who showed off a shooter's touch was Rodriguez, who as a point guard can do a lot of scoring. He shows off his range by knocking down threes and isn't afraid to test the waters and continue to step further away from the basket. He has great handles and is a good passer.

Nabil Rurangirwa Fort Worth Jayhawks Holman

The one big man that no one is talking about is Rurangirwa. A young wiry framed athlete, Rurangirwa could turn into a prospect that everyone can see his upside as a shot-blocker and rebounder. He has speed in transition to run down an opponent and block the ball at its highest point. TexasHoops/GASO staff will continue to monitor his progress.

Saxon Thompson Texas Impact 4:13

Thompson may not be a true "New Kid" but TexasHoops/GASO wants to revisit the solid and steady point guard. He is a reliable PG that makes the right play and gets his teammates easy buckets. Thompson also handles pressure and will play at different paces.
