Sanni Hoops 70 TJ Ford Austin 56

Sanni Hoops capped off an electric run in the Live Period GASO with a 14-point win over TJ Ford Austin to secure their bracket's title.

This one was all about Ajare Sanni (Clear Lake 2018). In the last set of games in the Live Period GASO, Sanni put on an absolute show on the way to dropping 31. He was getting to the hole and finishing as well as knocking down everything he looked at from the perimeter. Expect Sanni's offer list to grow substantially in the next few weeks.

Ovidio Perez (Pearland 2018) and Kenny Brown (Pearland 2017) added 10 a piece for Sanni Hoops in the win. TJ Ford Austin's big man D.J. Thorpe (Lake Travis 2019) was an absolute monster on the glass and turned some heads with his play throughout the weekend, scoring 15 in this one. Teammate Garrett Wilson (Lake Travis 2019) added 8.

CenTex Lockdown 46 SW Louisiana Blazers 45

CenTex Lockdown held on for the bracket title by the skin of their teeth, with Dayante McClellan (Del Valle 2017) sinking a late free throw to beat SW Louisiana Blazers in a tight, defense dominated championship game.

McClellan would finish with 9 points, but it was the play of Luke Hamilton (Lake Travis 2018) that got CenTex going offensively, as he tallied 14 points. Malcolm Green of Buda Hays added 9 of his own.

SW Lousiana Blazers were paced by the duo of Kyron Gibson (Peabody Magnet 2019) and Newlon Gillihan (Parklane Academy 2018), with each scoring 10 in the loss.

TJ Ford Houston 66 SSA Elite Black 62

TJ Ford Houston saw off a talented SSA Elite team in their championship game, weathering a late run from SSA to hold on for a 4-point win.

Terrell Wilson (FB Marshall 2018) was the key man for TJ Ford Houston's victory, scoring 14 of his game high 23 in the second half. Teammates Kelyn Adams (Pearland) and Taz Sherman (FB Marshall) also came up big for TJ Ford, combining for 28 in the win.

SSA Elite was led by Mikey Wycoff (Bishop Seabury, KS) with a big 16 points as his team forced his way back into the contest. DeShawn Hanika (Hayden Catholic 2018) ended an impressive tournament on the block with a 10-point game.

UFT Elite 17U 53 TX D1 Ambassadors West Texas 44

UFT Elite's star tandem of Shahada Wells (Tascosa) and JoQuarius Valrie (Houston Yates 2019) proved to be too much for D1 West Texas, kick starting the team to a win after a low scoring first half.

Wells was getting to the hole and finishing all game long on the way to a 20 point game, while Valrie posted a 15-point performance as the two of them combined for well over half of UFT's points. Chris Wilson (Caprock 2019) was a solid early option for UFT, scoring all of his 8 points in the opening frame.

D1 West Texas was led once again by the smooth inside-outside play of swingman Carter Laramore (Seminole 2018) with 16 points. Jeremie Karngabaye (Poratles) got to the line early and often, with half of his 14 points coming from the stripe.
