Jhivvan Jackson, getting visits from Texas Tech, UTSA and more

One of the top uncommitted players in the state is easily Euless Trinity’s Jhivvan Jackson. The 6-foot scoring point guard spent nearly his entire summer playing for the Puerto Rico National team.

Currently, Jackson is occupying the No.32 spot in the 2017 rankings, that should change as he is a top 15 talent in the state.

Jackson has a soft touch coming off his fingertips and will drill his shot off the bounce. Jackson is the perfect high-ball screen action player as he has all the tools to come around the edge of defenders to do one of three things. He can score, find the open man, or take the ball to the basket.

Interest is coming from California-Berkley, Duquesne, Northeastern, Rhode Island, SFA, Sienna, Texas Tech, UTA, and UTSA.

Head coach Steve Henson was in today (Tuesday) to watch Jackson, along with North Texas, and Texas Tech is expected to be in on Wednesday.
