The 2010 Boys Great American Shoot-Out dates for the four summer events have been set.
SUMMER SHOOT-OUTS
The GASO schedule began with the 12th annual Summer Tip-Off in Dallas and followed with the traditional stop in Bryan/College Station. GASO will make a new stop in Pearland this week, followed by the summer finale -- the Duncanville Great American Shoot-Out, which attracts teams and college coaches from all across the country.
A new NCAA legislation prohibits the use of Division I college campuses for summer tournaments, so after 14 successful years in Denton at the University of North Texas, the Great American Shoot-Out will move to the south side of the Metroplex.
The newly renovated Bob Knight Fieldhouse in Duncanville will join the Carrollton-based Integrated Athletic Development and Duncanville, Cedar Hill and DeSoto high schools as host sites for the 2010 Great American Shoot-Out in July. The Bob Knight Fieldhouse, the IAD and the high school facilities will keep the Great American Shoot-Out at the forefront of college coaches' summer schedules.

TEAM DISCOUNT PLANS
The Great American Shoot-Out will be offering team discounts to groups that enter more than one event in the summer and to organizations that enter more than one team at an event.
FOR DUNCANVILLE SHOOT-OUT ONLY
(all team coaches and personnel who intend to sit on the bench at the Duncanville Great American Shoot-Out must have this NCAA certification per NCAA rules)
FOR DUNCANVILLE SHOOT-OUT ONLY
All team coaches must register their team coaches and players on the NCAA Team Registration website. You must enter each coach and player's information as required by the NCAA to be eligible for open period events (July 6-15, July 22-31)
