Game Changers: Morris is back, Woods surging, Adams as good as advertised

As the GASO circuit Is coming to a close In 2020, the last Fall Classic In Mansfield did not disappoint. We hosted over 70 teams and got to see everything we needed to get us ready for the high school season.

Arterio Morris 6'4 - Kimball High School - 2021

Arterio Morris came out of the gates hot at the GASO Fall Classic In Mansfield this weekend. He Impressed In a variety of different ways and has seemed to have really put everything together. On offense, he scored In every way Imaginable In the half-court, and the dude was flat out electric In transition. Defensively, he flew around, made plays, and when his team needed him to go lock someone down he did that too. Arterio meets the billing of a top-notch recruit and It's pretty clear why he Is heading to Memphis.

Damonze Woods 6'7 - Amarillo High School 2022

Damonze, had caught my eye this summer with his size strength, and athleticism, but this weekend really solidified what I thought about him. He came out aggressive going downhill and finishing around the rim, he even flashed the ability to stretch the floor which makes his ceiling much higher. Defensively, he moves his feet very well and shows the athleticism to guard many different positions and affect all types of shots. The most impressive part about Damonze is he went toe to toe with some of the best players In Texas and shows that he deserves to be In the conversation as one of the top bigs In a loaded 2022 class.

KJ Adams 6'8 - Austin Westlake High School - 2021

KJ Adams recently signed with Kansas, and he showed off why he received a scholarship offer from them. He was phenomenal this weekend In all facets of the game. On offense, he scored whenever and however he wanted, he handled the ball at a high level, but the thing that stuck out most was his vision and passing ability. He was extremely unselfish and I thought he made the correct basketball decision constantly. Defensively he showed his versatility In how he could guard any position from 1-5, when he was In the paint, he anchored It well by making life tough on all drivers. I expect a deep run by Westlake this season, and KJ Is a big reason why.
