Leonard's Frame and Uniform Familiar to Sooner Fans

It wasn't that long ago that Oklahoma was home to a pair of Longview, Texas Lobos who would not only become all-Big 12 honorees but interestingly enough Malcolm Kelly and Trent Williams would follow one another to the Washington Redskins. Interestingly it seems that the Sooners may have interest in another Lobo two-fer with one of them bearing remarkable similarity to Kelly.

That player is wide receiver Dorian Leonard who grew up in New Orleans and admits to not knowing much of Kelly before he arrived to Longview high school. However, the Sooner staffer who recently came by and invited Leonard, fellow offer Zaycoven Henderson, and safety Stephan Maxey was quick to make the comparison between the two big Lobo receivers.

"I talked to coach (Jay) Norvell on the phone - maybe like 30 minutes ago - and he came by the school on Friday. He was saying that I compare, he was just saying I remind him a lot of Malcolm Kelly and he said all of the offensive coaches were watching my tape and they like me," the 6-foot-4, 180-pound Leonard said.
