COLLEGE PARK -- Magruder captured the 2011-2012 Class 4A state title on Saturday night at Comcast Center, beating Eleanor Roosevelt by a score of 39-36.

In a gritty, physical game where defense reigned supreme, it was 5-foot-4 Magruder point guard J.J. Epps who came up big. A junior, Epps led all scorers with 13 points, including four decisive foul shots in the final minute.
